At Bloom Neurotech, we are working on the next generation of drug-free depression treatment using repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS).
We’re building the world’s first home rTMS device, providing a safe and effective therapy option to hundreds of millions of patients globally.
To achieve this, we are looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer who joins our core engineering team.This position requires a strong foundation in digital and power electronics, with specific expertise in designing and testing PCBs, and developing systems involving power inverters.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test PCBs, ensuring integration of digital and power electronics systems. This includes all aspects from initial schematic capture to PCB layout and final board testing.
- Develop and implement inverter circuits, optimizing for performance and reliability.
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility tests and ensure designs comply with medical device standards.
- Manage the entire PCB design process, including layout, prototyping, and manufacturing handoff, using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate across teams, including mechanical engineers and firmware developers, to ensure system integration and functionality.
- Lead the prototyping phase, including component selection, assembly, and rigorous testing.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for design processes and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Stay informed of advancements in electronics, particularly as they relate to medical device applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics design, focusing on digital and power electronics.
- Demonstrated experience with inverter technology and circuit design.
